About the role
With three plants operating across two countries (and a fourth in early development), we need an experienced environment, health, and safety lead to own the EHS function across the ASEAN footprint. This is a senior role with direct reporting line to the COO.
Responsibilities
- Own the EHS management system across all operating sites.
- Lead incident investigations and corrective-action follow-up.
- Maintain compliance with Thai and Vietnamese regulatory regimes; prepare for Indonesian and Malaysian frameworks as we expand.
- Run quarterly EHS audits at each site; report directly to the COO and the board’s EHS committee.
- Build local EHS capacity at each plant — coaching, training, ongoing development.
What we’re looking for
- 10+ years EHS experience in process industries (chemicals, refining, oil and gas, or comparable).
- Multi-site, multi-country leadership experience.
- Working knowledge of ASEAN regulatory environments; Thai or Vietnamese language a plus.
- Recognised EHS professional certification (NEBOSH, CSP, or equivalent).
Benefits
- Choice of base in Bangkok or Vung Tau; rotation between sites supported.
- Senior leadership equity grant.
- Travel time recognised as working time.
- Discretionary annual bonus tied to fleet-wide safety metrics.
