About the role
Plant III is our largest commissioning project to date — a 60,000 t/y catalytic pyrolysis line on the south coast of Vietnam. We are looking for a Plant Manager to take operational ownership from late-stage commissioning through the first 36 months of steady-state production.
You will inherit a fully designed plant and a commissioning team already on site. Your job is to bring the line into reliable nameplate operation, build the local team, and own the relationship with our offtake partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations across feedstock intake, pyrolysis, condensation, and product handling.
- Build and develop the Vietnamese operations team (target headcount: ~45 by end of Year 1).
- Own plant KPIs: uptime, on-spec yield, energy intensity, HSE record.
- Partner with the central engineering team in Singapore on incremental debottlenecking.
- Represent EEG to local regulators, the industrial park operator, and our anchor offtake partner.
What we’re looking for
- 10+ years operating chemical, refining, or petrochemical assets at plant-manager or deputy level.
- Direct experience commissioning a continuous-process plant from cold start to nameplate.
- Comfortable working in a multilingual operations environment; Vietnamese language a plus, not a requirement.
- Strong HSE instincts and a willingness to live near site for the first two years.
Benefits
- Senior leadership equity grant, vesting over four years.
- Relocation and family support package; international school allowance for dependents.
- 28 days annual leave plus all Vietnamese public holidays.
- Direct line to the CEO; you will sit on the operations leadership team.
