About the role
The Plant IV reactor will be a meaningful step up in scale from our existing fleet. We are looking for a reactor design engineer to join the central engineering group in Singapore and own the mechanical and process integration of the next-generation reactor package, from concept through detailed design and supplier hand-off.
Responsibilities
- Lead reactor sizing, geometry, internals, and heat-integration design for the Plant IV unit.
- Develop CFD and reaction-network models in partnership with the catalyst group.
- Specify and procure reactor internals, instrumentation, and refractory packages.
- Coordinate with the EPC partner during detailed engineering.
- Support startup at site once construction completes (targeting late 2027).
What we’re looking for
- 7+ years reactor design experience in a continuous catalytic process — FCC, MTO, methanol, or comparable.
- Demonstrated ownership of a reactor package from PFD through commissioning.
- Strong CFD and reaction-engineering modelling skills (Aspen, ANSYS Fluent, or equivalent).
- Comfortable speaking with operators, fabricators, and licensors in the same week.
Benefits
- Equity in a fast-growing private company.
- Direct ownership of a multi-million-dollar capex item.
- 25 days annual leave plus Singapore public holidays.
- Sponsored membership of a professional engineering institution.
