About the role
The consulting practice advises governments, industrial parks, and large producers across ASEAN on plastic-waste strategy — what infrastructure to build, what policy instruments work, what realistic recycling rates look like over a 10-year horizon. We are looking for a senior consultant to lead two-to-three client engagements at a time and develop new business in the region.
Responsibilities
- Lead client engagements from scoping through final delivery.
- Develop financial and material-flow models for regional plastic-waste systems.
- Advise on policy design, EPR scheme architecture, and infrastructure prioritisation.
- Develop the practice’s point of view on emerging topics; publish externally where relevant.
- Grow the pipeline of follow-on work; participate in proposals and client development.
What we’re looking for
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, public-sector advisory, or industrial planning, with at least three years in waste, circular economy, or adjacent sectors.
- Comfortable presenting to ministerial-level audiences.
- Strong quantitative chops — you should be able to build the model yourself before handing it off.
- Existing network in at least one ASEAN market.
Benefits
- Consulting-rate compensation plus EEG equity.
- Travel-heavy role; corresponding allowances and time-off-in-lieu policy.
- Direct access to operations and R&D leaders as subject-matter resources.
- Career path to partner-equivalent within three years.
